Teach Access Award
Elaine Short, Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, has received a 2020-21 Teach Access Curriculum Development Award.
Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor Elaine Short is the recipient of a 2020-2021 Teach Access Curriculum Development Award. The award supports the development of modules, presentations, exercises, and curriculum enhancements that introduce the fundamental concepts of accessible design and development in existing, classroom-based courses. The award is made possible through funding from Teach Access industry members.
Short will use the funding to add a unit on accessible design to her Human-Robot Interaction course (COMP 193), which will be offered in Fall 2020. Read more about the Teach Access Award.
